It is an integral part of the local community. Located in Randlay, a popular and attractive suburb of Telford, The Maples offers a welcoming and safe environment where you’re among people you love and trust.
We have brought together professional, compassionate teams and smart technology to make every day joyful for the people who share our lives. It is a place that offers opportunities to enjoy life inside and outside your immediate surroundings.
Our EQ Care ethos is ‘Ohana’ after all. It’s a Hawaiian word meaning extended family and one that encapsulates what we strive to create in all our homes – a feeling of security, love and exemplary care.
Parking is available for all visitors.
The nearest railway station is Telford Central. The nearest bus stop is Farmhouse, less than a 2-minute walk away.
You tell us what you need, want and aspire to be, then we help you make it happen.
Our care approach is one of collaborative creation and getting to know each other is the first step. You tell us what makes you happy and, together with the people who know you best, we’ll create a plan of care and support together. This makes sure all your physical, social, spiritual and emotional needs are met in the ways you want.
Meet Kevin Bradley, Home Manager of The Maples
It is Kevin’s responsibility to lead The Maples’ heart-centred care approach as well as the day-to-day running of the home.
Kevin began his nurse training in 1985, becoming a Registered Mental Nurse in 1988. After moving through the ranks within the NHS, he moved to the private sector in 1993 as a Deputy Manager. Since 1994, Kevin has held the role of Manager/Registered Manager, bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience to his current role as Home Manager at The Maples.
Kevin embraces the challenge of setting new standards of care at The Maples.
Our dedicated team, selected for their emotional intelligence and compassion, is here to provide exceptional care every day. They bring warmth, patience, and a deep commitment to each person’s well-being, fostering a supportive and joyful atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected. We support people who live with dementia and other conditions that may need the help of a nurse and care team. Our approach is of inclusivity and support – always.

At The Maples you’ll feel the warmest sense of belonging. As we want to ensure that your life with us is as happy and fulfilling as possible, so we do things your way, every day.

My mum stayed at The Maples for three weeks in order to receive rehabilitation after four weeks in hospital. All members of staff were excellent – the receptionists, carers and in house physiotherapist were all welcoming, helpful and supportive of mum and her visitors. Communication with us was extremely good. Mum was very comfortable there and we felt she was very safe during her stay there.
The Maples is a clean and beautiful residential care home, the staff and the caring team are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. My mom is a resident here and she is very happy, which makes the family feel more secure knowing mom is in a safe environment. Maples you are doing a great job.
Found the home to be well laid out. Staff very friendly and caring. Rooms spacious with all facilities. Residents have full access to dining and lounge. Even able with help to access gardens. I would highly recommend to anybody seeking care.
Care staff are very friendly and helpful, as is management. Rooms are clean and spacious. Dad is a lot happier since moving here, he enjoys visits from Ted the dog and enjoys a sing-a-long when entertainment is on

🇬🇧 VE Day at Our Homes – 80 Years On 🇬🇧
Today marks 80 years since Victory in Europe Day, and our homes came together to celebrate with a wonderful mix of remembrance and joy.
Our people enjoyed a 1940s-themed street party, complete with Union Jack cakes, flags, and music bringing the spirit of the era to life. Looking through old photographs sparked special memories, as we honoured the resilience and stories of a remarkable generation.
What a wonderful day it has been!

🌟 Introducing Our New Chapter: Bracebridge Care Group is Now EQ Care Group! 🌟
A fresh look, a new name, but the same unwavering dedication to what matters most.
Our mission has always been to put people at the centre of everything we do. At EQ Care, everything we do has real gravitas and meaning, it’s not just what we do, it’s who we are.
Our new name reflects this foundation. EQ stands for Emotional Quotient — the measure of emotional intelligence, and the heart of how we care. It’s about empathy, connection, and understanding.
This rebrand represents an exciting new chapter, but our core values remain unchanged:
• Everyone cares from the heart.
• Everything is done with intention.
• Every action is rooted in emotional intelligence.
🎥 Tune in to hear from our CEO, Samantha Crawley, as she shares more on this new transformation.
