You don’t necessarily have to have previous experience in caring for people. We believe that everyone has to start somewhere, and there are few better places to do that than EQ Care. We want people who see caring as a vocation and not just a job. What matters to us are values. Relevant experience and qualifications are important of course but we believe that personality and attitude is just as important.

To ensure that our person-centred approach becomes the DNA of each EQ Care home, we will develop and nurture the best teams by offering exciting career pathways and promoting team member wellbeing at all times. So if you are serious about building a career in social care, then we will back you 100%. For some of our specialist roles such as a nurse, administrator or team leader we will need to see certificates or proof of training. There are however plenty of other roles where we promise to support you in gaining those qualifications yourself.
